Return & Refund Policy

We have a 30-day issue-resolution policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to report any problems with your order. Because all Rainy Day Mugs are made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless an item arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective.


How to Report an Issue

If your mug arrives broken, misprinted, or incorrect, please email us at support@rainydaymugs.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
Include your order number, a clear photo of the damaged or incorrect item, and a short description of the issue.

Once we review your message, we’ll send a replacement at no additional cost. You do not need to return the damaged item—please dispose of it safely.


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Because each mug is custom-printed just for you, we do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind or buyer’s remorse

  • Incorrect shipping address or order details entered at checkout

  • Delays caused by shipping carriers

  • Sale items or gift cards


Late or Lost Orders

If your order has not arrived 10 business days past its expected delivery date, please contact us. We will verify tracking with our shipping partners and, if confirmed lost, issue a replacement or refund.


Refunds

Refunds are only issued if:

  • The item arrives damaged, misprinted, or defective (photo evidence required), or

  • The order is confirmed lost or delayed beyond 10 business days after its expected delivery date.

If a refund is approved, it will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note it may take additional time for your bank or card company to post the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received your refund, please contact us at support@rainydaymugs.com.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.
As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Because our mugs are made to order, this policy applies only if production has not yet started. Once a mug is printed and shipped, the order is considered final except in the case of damage or defects.
